Hitting The Target Online!. Review on Target

Recently I came across another online store that I have found to be rather nice! Now mind you I don’t care for their stores, but the online store is just fine! I came across this online store via https://amazon.com while shopping for a crock-pot. (Which I have written on.)

Anyway, this online store is now available through https://amazon.com or alone. If you have an Amazon® account you can use it, which is great in my book! Or you can set up a new account if you would like.

The Online Store

http://www.target.com may just become one of my favorite places to shop! Like I stated above I can’t stand their stores, but I was very impressed with their online store.

When you get to their home page you will find a very attractive page done in reds and browns and whites. Across the top you will find links for: Target, Marshall Fields, Amazon, Mervyns, Your Store, Shopping Directory, Gifts, Wish List, Help, My Account, Shopping Bag and others. Each link taking you to a different page within the site.

On the left hand side of the home page you will find their search engine, which I found to be very helpful. Since I was looking for a crock-pot I typed that in and was taken to a page that offered various choices. You can use the search by either typing in words or an item number.

Below the search are a variety of links for: Home, Kitchen, Family, Entertainment, Shop More Target, Shop by Brand, The Perfect Gift, Financial Services, Club Wedd and Lullaby Club. Each of the titles offers many selections.

In the middle you will find the current sale items and right now you will find lots of items up to 50% off. It’s the after Christmas sale going on you know! And on the right hand side you will also find various links that will take you to places like: Health and Wellness, Amazon, Marshall Fields Sale Items and On Sale This Week. And course at the bottom of the homepage you will find various links about the company, contact and other services offered.

My Order

From the home page I typed in crock-pot in the search engine and was taken to a page offering all crock-pots available, including the ones in the clearance section. But also in the Kitchen Store and the Small Appliance Store. Of course I went to the clearance section first! And right away found the slow cooker I had been wanting for a very long time now.

I added it to my cart without hesitation and was well on my way to being a happy camper once again in my life! At the check out I was able to put in the redemption code via my gift certificates via https://prizegames.com and after that amount was subtracted I was able to put in my credit card info through a secure check out, which was already saved since I signed in with my Amazon® account.. The cooker I got was on sale for 19.58, a 30% savings, which made me even happier. The s/h was 5.99, which I thought was a little high, but I didn’t care because a life long mission was coming to an end! The total out of my pocket was around 6.00. The order was guaranteed to be here within one week. I ordered on Jan. 2nd and got it on Jan. 7th, all in one piece.

How I Feel

I was able to track my order via UPS with no problems. I also received an email from Target/Amazon informing me that there may be a delay in the package by 2 days. When I clicked the link in the email I was taken to my account information where I discovered that the problem had been resolved. I thought this was nice feature.

I also went back to the site for some more shopping, purchasing some Christmas Lights that were on clearance and a gift certificate to send my daughter to spend on the new grandbaby. (She can use it at the online store!)

I also like being to see at the bottom of any page my order history as well as where I have been on the site. This I found to be helpful because I just click that item should I want to go back and look again. This way I don’t have to search again! And I can easily locate the Target Icon at the top left hand corner of any page that will take me back to the homepage. I also discovered that the search engine is available at the bottom of the pages as well.

The Club Wedd™ is great as well. When my husband and I got married years back we used this service and it was neat! Anyone could go to the store or online to shop for us. (This is one of the very few times that I have used a Target Store). When my oldest had her first child the family was able to go to the online site and shop under the Lullaby Club for the new baby. When using either one of these services via online all you have to do is put in the name of the person and the date of the wedding or due date. Then you will be taken to all the things the couples would like. Very easy to do. And of course all major credit cards are accepted. The shipping and handling varies depending on what you order. You can find a link at the bottom of the pages that will give you those rates. Standard, 1 and 2-day delivery are offered.

I have found that https://target.com has a lot to offer and their clearance prices are some of the best that I have found for an online store. If you need to contact them you can do so via the help section. And under each topic there you will find a link where you can contact them about that topic.

There is just so much to shop for and to do at https://target.com. Why a girl can spend all day there! You can shop till you drop for clothes, housewares, auto stuff, dining stuff, baby stuff and so much more! Overall I have been very happy with them.
