RV(Saif) is a Car Racer in USA, earns lots of fame. Of course, his friend’s(a cabby) contribution to all his achievements is not small. With a ‘live-this-moment-and-enjoy’ attitude, he lives his life at its fullest without looking at the future.

Radhika(Rani) is daughter of a billionaire and a number one pianist in the world.  Circumstances made them to meet more than one time, fall in love and get married against the wish of her father, who thinks his daughter is far more intelligent, educated and a foreseer of tomorrows than the guy.

They move into a big house, even though not affordable to them, taking huge loans. RV consoles his wife saying that they can pay the amount in installments.

Then comes a Race where RV meets with an accident at a break-necking speed due to one of his co-racers’ foul play. It proves to be fatal for RV and doctors almost predict the end of his career.

But, contrary to all the predicaments, RV comes back to the track with the support of his wife and friend. The race starts and RV was about to do it again. He was in front of the race. The person who fouled him earlier is again racing neck to neck with RV. Their eyes meet on the speed track at the final round. Seeing the Opponent, thoughts the accident start haunting RV and he visualizes those scenes ending up in a sudden mental break down simultaneously lifts his leg from the accelerator making him lag behind the race! The earlier accident made him phobic to the situation, but RV pacifies his friend Harry, who is also the Manger of the Race Sponsor Company, saying that he intentionally did it to avoid a likely controversy of a race-fixing case in the earlier race.

Poor performance in the trial tracks followed by this incident makes RV’s race sponsor to withdraw his support to him for the next races. RV’s best efforts to get another sponsor for next races all go in vain.

Finding difficulty to pay back the loans they took for the house and other gadgets, the entire family shifts to a country type location where lower income groups live(most of them Indians). Both parents make the children believe the situation to be a ‘reality show’ to cover up the menace from the kids.  Both RV and his wife Radhika try to get some good jobs but to no avail due to their inadequate qualifications. Finally, with the help of Harry, RV gets a Taxi license and manages to become a cabby at the least. Radhika get a job as a pianist in a hotel. Gradually, the hardships make the children realized that this is no more a game as their parents told, but a reality only. The Children decide to help their parents for their school fees by not having lunch at school so as to save some money. RV manages to get some money from his fellow Indian co-workers telling them lie that his daughter has pneumonia and is hospitalized.

Finally, school fees remitted. But, the nightmare was far from over. The younger boy gets caught a mystery illness. They all come to know that it was due to the improper diet and they were in urgent need of 65000 dollars for an operation! RV knocks all the doors possible to him including his ex-race-sponsor, but only to realize that all are in vain. Harry, to help his friend from the grave situation, talks to a team of Indian cabbies and they all voluntarily come forward to team up for contesting in the next car race.

Rest is the climax………

The movie is inspirational, message oriented, above all entertaining. Direction(Siddharth Anand) is superb. Camera work(Binod Pradhan) is mind blowing. Music is at par with the mood of the movie. The theme tune is soothing to the ears. Director has treated each situation to not to go overboard. Saif is very energetic and the movie is a proof of his choosing the roles carefully. Rani is the perfect wife all in all. They both keep superb onscreen chemistry in the movie. The kids are okay. I forget to tell about a doggy, which had become a part of their life and delivered some finest moments in the movie.

The only con of the movie is it is highly predictable as nothing new in the story.

The messages/lessons the movie gives:

  1. One should save money for tomorrow rather than spending it now

  2. The importance of study

  3. We indians might be fighting here on cast, creed, religion but, we are'one' outside the country and help unconditionally each other

  4. If we try and try again, we will come up from any abyss of troubles.

Friends, don’t miss it……….
