The tanishq ad!!!. Review on Tanishq, Mumbai

Jewellery ads ...how successful have they been…a fantastic looking model …mostly film stars with great looks……mostly half dressed……chosen jewels displayed to create all sorts of effect…………with lighting playing its part. well if u are looking for something like this then you will be certainly taken by a surprise ……..this tanishq ad….stands out as a wonderful memory …long after the ad is played…..

Concept is simple: old is gold and new is diamond …..A beautiful way to blend the old and new……a unique way to tell that we learn from the old and suit the new style and fashion

The ad:

This dates back to the 50’s……….The ad starts with a extremely chweet girl of say 25(with respect to her make up)….wearing a neck chain… (Winking at the lil girl thro the mirror)...She is all set and waiting for her hubbies arrival…..then she moves around the house on seeing elders takes her pallu and covers the back of her head and takes the blessings of her in laws (I think)….every small aspect of the ad is taken care with full thoughtfulness…mm the way the elders bless her (with a serious traditional way) ….there is this small guy playing with a typical old model car. and she says vroooommm (that’s the only audio for the girl in the ad) moves out of the huge house into the open when her saree covering head skids down and the camera is focused on to the hero( her hubby…..a guy in perfect traditional clothes)

She gives the best smile ever…and gives a cherished look at the green. Shining car….obviously a car with no top cover…..they both climb on the car and the guy drives in only few meters away when the girl asks him to stop and there is a big argument….the guy saying no no u cant do it ..And the star of the show strong on her view… (….silently watched by her mother-in-law from the first floor window…..)...The girl wins …of course

……wondering y they argued …..The girl wanted to drive…at last to make him up he puts her fingers on his mouth and says shhhhhhh

I will manage (that is implied)….there a cute smile from the mothering law who is watching… (As if telling I knew she will get to drive)…..and the ad completes by
