Hi,

This was way back in 1983 when my husband was working for a saudi arabian company and I had enough time to spare, that I used to get glued to the television. Watch all the latest movies and skits. Of all the plays I really enjoyed these pakistani plays, the story, direction, and the performance of each and every character, portrayed was indeed very praiseworthy.

This is that piece of work, presented to the public, which depicts the life of two sisters who have battled with their life, who lost their parents in a very tragic accident. This is a wonderful piece of art and entertainment, was directed by the most famous and a noted directors Haseena moin, who received a lot of applause for her work and guidance.

The star cast in this play was Shahnaz sheikh who played the role of Zara (the eldest sister on whom this entire story is based on), Badar Khaleel, Qazi wajeed, Marina Khan. The main characters in this play are Zara, Saniya (the younger sister) Kabacha (comedian, who works in their house), Aani(their maternal aunt).

It seems an evil eye hit the families happiness when zaras parents died in the accident. Aani their aunt took in charge of the two girls, who were going through a lot of emotional turmoil. Zara, a reserved, shy and a secluded character while saniya was very outgoing, fun loving and an extrovert. Aani, having taken the responsibility of the girls were also struggling for survival.

Zara had to hand over all the property to their fathers friend, and was trying to achieve a place for herself in society to earn all that belonged to her father. But in the midst of all these drama she lost all that she had. The character (kabacha) keeps the audience lively, with roaring laughter. He maintains a good rapport with Aani.

This is a wonderful play, which I am sure all of you will like. Her another master piece was'' ANKAHI ''
