I had booked an AC bus ticket for Bangalore from Chennai in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation. The bus was scheduled to leave from Koyembedu at 10:30 pm but arrived at 11:05 pm then after 10 minutes of halt it left.
Being a weekend and scheduling my trip to Bangalore accordingly was that I had planned a good sleep in the bus after a long days work so that I could feel fresh at Bangalore in the morning.
But to my horror I came to know on boarding the bus that the AC was not-working properly and they would be running it in intervals.It was dam hot inside and I was having a feeling of being cheated, that is taking a non-AC ride at the cost of AC.
The interval was like 5 minutes of running AC for every 40 minutes or so of torture.
So my wish of sound sleep was ruined.
More over the seats were very ordinary, uncomfortable with very little leg space and it was very untidy the seat covers. I was having a feeling that I should have booked an AC 3 tier and would have paid less and would have got more benefits:(
I was very dissatisfied with this kind of service and in future never ever booked a bus ticket in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation at least for my future Bangalore journeys.
