Bhoot 3. Review on Talaash

Aamir's Friday is back in theaters after 3 long years and still continues to deliver the finest performance, maintaining the consistency of perfectionist. The actor continues to take different roles in every film and delivers the best.

Coming back to the movie TALAASH, which claims itself to be a suspense thriller should ideally be a suspense horror thriller. Aamir Khan ( as Surjan) who is shown as a cop, is in charge for the high profile accident case of a movie star Vivan ( as Armaan Kapoor ). The clues lead him to the red light area where he struggles between pimps and prostitutes for answers. Also, Aamir is married to Rani Mujherjee ( as Roshni ) and had a son whom they lost in an accident.

The vital clues keep taking Aamir to a working call girl Kareena Kapoor ( As Rosy or Simran ). In between solving the mystery, the cop and the call-girl, develop a relationship that goes slightly beyond the regular. Rani plays a small role but delivers well as a mother who has faced a tragedy. Kareena Kapoor looks lovely. She must get ready to star in RGV's Bhoot 3. She can play a perfect vamp. Nawazuddin ( As Taimur ) plays a quite interesting role and excels his part with remarkable ease.

Ram Sampath's music looks good especially for the song Muskaanein jhooti hai and Jiya lage na

Dialogues by Farhan Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap has fire. On the story part I must say that Karthik Calling Karthik made more sense than Talaash. It's really not easy to digest a cop stuck in a horror mystery. Even the CID ( Shown in Sony ) believe in realistic story which really make sense rather then blaming everything for incidents happening to a ghost.

Talaash is well-worth the price of a ticket for those who liked Kahaani ( Even though there is a BIG difference between those two ) and suspense thriller.

The finale, sure enough, is all important in a film of this genre. In this case, it's astonishing, powerful and also heartrending. And yes of course at the end you have all the answers but you need to stop a bit and think whether you accept this or not. Even, you can smell RGV when the climax is revealed in front of you cause this is the way RGV used to make the fool out of suspense. The climax of Joker is more convincing that the climax of Talaash.  Just take this movie as another variety that Bollywood can offer.

At the end when I left the theater thinking about how stupid the suspense was, a dialogue said by Ramadhir Singh ( From Gangs of Wasseypur II ) went across through my mind which says

Jab tak filme banti rahegi, log chu bante rahenge.

This time its Aamir Khan.
