Taj Mahal is a historical film which is I think good for those who don’t know the history behind why was Taj Mahal built? Not only that the film tells about the ancient Royal family’s life.

The stars which are present in this film are Raghu Raj as Khurram, Purnima as Aarjumand Bano, Moon Moon sen as Nur Janhan, Khulbhushan as Jahangir ok I will stop here… loads of them to go on with!!!

The film is story starts where Khurram is know to be a soldier, he hides his really originality of being the son of emperor and meets Aarjumand who is upper class family girl and her dad works in darbar. Khurram starts teaching Aarjumand the sitar and hence they both fall in love. Khurram then takes Aarjumand to his father who is Emperor and the father tells the reality of his son to Aarjumand. They both get blessed by the father but the step mother who is Nur Jahan wants Khurram to marry her daughter. Khurram does not agree and tells his dad that he doesn’t want to be the future king and leaves the house along with Aarjumand. Both the lovers start living in a far mountain area with few of the soldiers; they both get married and have to son while they hide from Nur Jahan. Nur Jahan who wants to Khurram sends her soldiers to find him and most likely the soldiers find Khurram sons. Khurram leaves his own place promising to his wife that he will return with their two sons back home. Khurram back at his own home finds his dad taking last breath of his life and the emperor asks for apologies and tells Khurram to return back home and to his town. Khurram starts living with Aarjumand in there own town and they punish Nur Jahan for doing all the things which she shouldn’t have done.

One day Khurram has to leave for war. Aarjumand is pregnant and she goes behind him to same place knowing that Aarjumand has come behind him Khurram tries returning back to the camp but takes long time to him as he forgets the way. Aarjumand is told that her husband is no more alive and hence she delivers a baby and she gets week herself. Khurram reaches the camp and comes to know that Aarjumand is taking her last breath. Aarjumand dies and then in her memory Khurram makes Taj Mahal which looks as beautiful as Aarjumand. In future his sons and daughter grow up. Sons are to greedy for their fathers power, they keep him in a room from where he can easily see Taj Mahal in the end of the movie Khurram dies while he looks at Taj Mahal.

The movie was really nice, it was really shown in description, but only thing I wonder is why people in India didn’t come to know about this Indo Canadian film production? The movie will make you cry at certain places the actors in the film have worked really hard. I think that’s what I can say about it…. Do watch this film.

If you need to know something about Taj mahal do go watch out for this film, must say people have done loads of effort and the movie is different.
