This is a magical place . Not the restaurant but the palace After going there you will definitely get a feeling of why didn't you take birth as a royalty . So as most of us know and for the one's who don't know, taj falaknuma is situated on a hill top and is partially owned by the very renowned the taj group . The group even restored many of the antiques which were in the palace . Almost all the antiques cost's millions!
So I would ask you to go 20 min before so u can see around before the tour starts . So they gave us a palace tour before we got in the dinning area . You can touch and feel everything in and around . There are basically 2 restaurant - an indian and an Italian . We choose to go in the indian one -Adda . The balcony view is mesmerizing .(I could have stayed in the balcony forever!) So coming onto the main topic . the food!
Don't expect anything out of the world becoz like any other taj restaurant the flavours are same . We started off with soup which was the hero of the night! It was a shorba served with a cardamom flavoured bread and lime . My friend opted for a corn based soup which was served with popcorn!
Next came the starter we chose one veg and one non veg one, veg being an aloo tikka with a small price of mango in the middle and non veg was a chicken tandoori item, both were awesome, In main course we had cheese garlic naan with a veg and a non veg dish respectively . The frnd ordered a sweet platter with 5 different kind of sweet barfi being d best and apple -pineapple flavoured tart being the least favourite!
Service: u have to be patient(???)
Ambience: Perfect for dates and proposal(?????)
Food: good(???)
Cost: that's obvious actually(??)
(Most of the dishes were suggested by them so I couldn't remember names:P)
