I love Taco Bell. My favorite menu item is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
It was introduced a few years ago and it was immediately my number one item to order. Unfortunately, it was a limited time offer and I guess it didn't go over as well as they had hoped so it was discontinued.
I was extremely happy when about a year later the Cheesy Gordita Crunch was reintroduced. I ate a ton of them hoping to prove it's popularity to the powers that be, but alas, it disappeared from Taco Bell menus again.
In the mean time, some Taco Bells continued to carry the Cheesy Gordita crunch. While it was usually not on the menu, these super Taco Bells would still make it for you if it was ordered. The Taco Bell in Lake Buena Vista, FL was extremely gracious about it. I ordered at least one every time I visited, and they always made it right! I commended the manager for doing such a good job, when many Taco Bells say 'Cheesy Gordita What?' They have all the ingredients, so there's no real reason NOT to make it when it's ordered.
Imagine my surprise and happiness when Taco Bell recently reintroduced the Cheesy Gordita Crunch for the THIRD time! I hope it stays on the menu where it belongs.
Cheesy. Chewy. Crunchy.
Yo quiero Taco Bell.
