OK. First things first. I have always loved Aamir, I became a renown fan and considered him to be the most talented, versitile Khan since when he came back with. EARTH. Lagaan and so on since then. RDB last year just defined his originality as an ACTOR once again.
When I heard he was going to be directing for the first time. ofcourse I was excited. As now the perfectionist Actor will now showcase his own ideas as a film, as his own vision.
But obviously I couldn't predict what he would show or what would be the outcome. so I waited and watched.
The story
We all knew what the story would be and what he wanted to outline just from seeing the promos. and that is "Every child is special". Nothing less, and nothing more.
So yes, it is a simple story.but everything beyond this story takes you to another place.
And do you know where that is?- Thats in a little boys world. called ISHAAN!

What can I say about this boy? I really wish I could see him now and give him a huge kiss on the cheek. . He was wonderful. the expressions. He was OUTSTANDING in every scene and made you feel what he was feeling. He was the main person in the film. the lead. Aamir khan did an amazing job with him.

I didn't think it was possible to love this guy even more. BUT omg. as an actor. GREAT GREAT performance. his thoughts trying to help the boy, he played his character with ease but feeling.
As his first ever directorial. I'm like.:o. Aamir was made to direct and show the world his vision. thats all I can say. I really couldn't believe this is Aamir's first ever directorial. The directing was done efficiently. well researched, dialogues, and the whole way the story went forward was OUTSTANDING. I am still so touched. Aamir has brought something new to bollywood. This is not just a social film. it still entertains you, and you are never bored.
I love you Aamir! Great job!
What I thought
What you see especially in the first half. is this boys story, you look at him and his thoughts and the way the world treats him. All I can say is WOW.
Some points that this film will make you feel.
- It will make you appreciate YOUR child. CHILDREN in general. It will remind you of when you were a child.
It will make you realise that every child has a gift and something new to bring to the world.
It will TOUCH you to the core. by the end of it you will cry or have a tear in your eye.:crybaby:(I was crying. my sister. and the guy next to me.LOL)
I don't want to give everything away. ALL I CAN say is WATCH it.!. This film deserves ALL success. and AAMIR has really outdone himself this year beyond words! I won't and can't understand if anyone wouldn't like this film.:mellow:. I'm serious.
