Alright, after reading a lot of reviews on MouthShut_Official and other scooter blogs .i bought the tvs wego some 3 months back. Its done about a decent 1100 Kms with the ocassional long ride to the other side of the town.
Initially . it seems all fine and normal but for a heavy guy like me I found it a bit too feeble. Another huge issue is if you have Cross wind or if you have the habit of widening your legs while driving the scooter starts to wobble violently Rajeev_Vermacially if ur @ 40 kmph and above. Changing the seating position doesnt help at all and it violently wobbles its front wheel due to the fast air passage between the legs.
During first service it was pointed out to the service center but as usual they had said " Wo company ka DESIGN HI AISA HAI" . I wasnt too sure what to say to him coz he took a test ride at around 75 kmph with me on the pillion. It was all fine but still even he could feel the wobble on the front wheel.
I might sound a bit pessimistic about the new wego but interestingly I am its biggest supporter all throughout its release.
Another HUGEE ISSUE is the if your tyre punctures be sure that you wont have a new tube available for your wego atleast for a good 1 month since apparently none of the official dealers or the sub dealers or even tvs tyres own website has the 90/90 X 12 54 J specs rear and front tyre and tubes available for their OWN BRAND OF SCOOTER?
Now how do you explain building a boat and forget to put paddles in it .or rather a water in a steam engine. Hope the company looks into its own backyard and salvages some left over rubber to make tyre tubes of its own brand rather than relying on some crooked gray market tube maker to mimic the ratings of 12 inch tyre tubes.
For the moment the only option left for wego owners is to use a honda aviator front tyre tube( even if your rear tyre got busted) so that means you are sacrificing on stability and trying to install another rival companies tube into your own scooter for the lack of your own parts.
That said if your tyre doesnt flat out and you keep your legs joined together right behind the front led lamps near the glove box the wego is a dream to drive.but if you met with a flat out atleast in about a month of this review going through beware your most likely to end up without a spare tube.!
