I am the owner of a brand new wego. however I am yet to be proud (the company booklet acclaimed that you are a proud owner). the scooter ran fine for a couple of day. one day it just didnt start. after frantic kicking it did respond. today is the 14th day of the owner ship and today I have lost nearly 03 liters of petrol to overflow problems. the petrol kept flowing from the overflow pipe from the carburettor and to my horror the TVS people have given a petrol overflow in the air intake manifold and petrol was overflowing from the air filter cover also. I fail to understand the reason for this.
I also found that TVS has not given any fuel shut off lever under the petrol tank so that the petrol flow can be started or shut as per requirement. this feature would have done some petrol saving and prevented overflow problems. I just hope that this problem has a solution. the showroom people told me to bring the scooter for repair. but may I ask as to how such a major design flaw can be allowed to creap into a scooter on whose advertisements so much of money has been spent. I hope my money has not gone down the drain.
