TVS Victor GL : The Best Choice

Hi Friends?!

I am Dinesh Nim (Age 22). I am a bike lover and like to go on long rides. I started driving two wheelers seven years back when my father brought a new Bajaj Classic scooter in 1996. Though it was good but I was interested in bikes. I have driving experience with Hero-Honda (Passion, Splender, Dawn, and CD100) , LML (Freedom), Bajaj (Caliber), Yamaha (RX 100 and crux), TVS (Suzuki Samurai) and a Rajdoot. But when I decided to buy one for myself I got confused among all these models because all have something good thing in them.

I asked my friends and got various suggestions. I did not want to buy a Hero-Honda because till Passion and below its range they have the same 97cc engine. I wanted to go a bit higher so it got out of my list. Then I took test rides (Caliber115, Freedom, Yamaha-Libero and Victor) and found TVS Victor-GL the best to suit my requirements.

Here are the qualities on those bases I spent 43990 rupees (Just 2 months back for a golden colored victor).

Design and looks: Though it depends on personals own views so some might not be agree with me. According to me it is a good looking bike that anybody can go for it. There is no disk brake option but after all this is the bike which helped TVS to grow up as an independent motorcycle company successfully.

Engine: I don?t know much about engines. I know that it is 110cc engine, produces 8.1 BHP@7250 rpm and smoothly running and done 1600 kilometers. Pick-up is better than Splender, Caliber and other 4-stroke bikes. Mileage is above 65 but at some extent it depends on the riding habits so 60 can be said as an average. The bike runs smoothly till 80 kilometer/hr. which is a good speed but at 80 and above fuel efficiency goes down.

Comfort: After first service I went to Agra from Ghaziabad. I was not feeling much tired so I can say it is comfortable.

Maintenance: I have not even spent 10 bugs except the service chares. I had just one visit to dealer.

Overall: I am satisfied with my decision of buying a victor. There are no problems/drawbacks till now after 1600 kilometers, so I can easily give 9.9 points out of 10 if not full to my all new TVS victor GL.

Regards:

(Dinesh Nim)
