TVS did a wonderful job by releasing this motorcycle. Not only is this the first 100% indigenously developed motorcycle but it is also great in finish, has good looks and fantastic gas mileage without compromising the power.
I bought this bike grudgingly because I was under the impression it would be a wimpy two wheeler and not give me the zip to ride around town. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by its nimble handling and reasonably good power and not to mention the fantastic 65+ kmpl I got out of its strong 110 cc engine.
The only one area I was not too happy was the riding comfort on long rides. I surely had a sore bottom when I did cross country rides in Karnataka.I had it for two wonderful years during which I didn't even have a flat tire before I upgraded to a TVS Apache.
