Bike Tvs Victor is a good in looks bike with plenty of burrowed parts from elder sibling Apache 160 Rtr. As I ride it 7000 kms I found good decent priced package for city riding conditions only. The bike deliver me mileage of 52 Kmpl in real traffic conditions. I always trying to make an ideal speed of 40 to 45 kmphr so this bike is good for me. I have already drive a long 150000 kms old Tvs Victor for more than 14 years so I am able to serve you good decesions while taking new Victor. Yes new victor impressed me a lot in well sculpted design and bold and beautifully crafted bikini fairing in front. The old victor gl is yet simple and sober with old fashioned front and simple body graphics. Here I also disuss the differences in good look and simple look model of these two victors.
Mileage - new 52kmpl, old 67kmpl city(after 1st service).
Engine- new 3 valve 9bhp, old 8.1 bhp
Engine life- new not know, old 150000KMS.
Handling- new very good, old good.
Riding- new good, old very good(in city).
Appearance- new bold and muscular, old simple and sober.
Top speed- new 75 kmphr, old 81 kmphr.
Gear shift- new not smooth, old butter smooth.
Build quality- new good, old very good.
Paint and graphics- new very good, old good for 14 years.
Additional- new tachometer and digital, old standard and durable.
As I have both ones new/ old TVS made good product and I always like my old one for city rides with good in ride controls and mileage of 65kmpl. Yes It is old one but I also recommend new victor for greater looks and design. Tvs added a lot of much goodies in victor to get market success but they little bit loose in engine, speed, poor suspension, soft rear shockers and mileage zone and made a product for city drive conditions. Overall good product from TVS.
