Hola everyone, would like to write a review about my  SUZUKI SHAOLIN. I own this bike since 1999, since then its been a pleasure riding this byk. I am not going to bug you by talking the stalk specs of the byk rather let me talk about what alterations have I done and how it performs. As a stalk  engine, the top end of the byk was 115 kmph with  140cc with 12 BHP, which was pretty decent, but it was not enough for me as I always have room for some more, then I decided to soup up the engine. Firstly started with the electrical, it has a 90/100 CDI Unit which increases your byks horse power by 2 % overall, very Bright lighting and a half kick start (any climatic conditions). installed a NGK IRIDIUM Spark plug, which  enhances the acceleration, smoother ride, fuel efficiency, better ignition efficiency.


Have used a imported quick throttle CARB with bigger float and jet. this has a bigger chamber for more air & fuel mixture, Increases top-end speed and acceleration, crisp throttling. Now lemme talk about the engine modification....it has a 0.5 RX135 imported Piston  with WIZECO Piston rings, all the ports in the cylinder are wide open (ported), slight alteration done on a read valve. have fitted a custom made inbuilt chamber for better cooling at high speed. it has a 13 teeth font sprocket and 41 on the rear...one of the best sprocketing I have ever loved, again it depends from byk to byk, it cant be the same on all Shaolins. I have fitted a Fiero Disc brake in the front for better braking. and have altered the rear suspension by welding an other provision, little more frontwards under the swingarm than the actual shocks are fitted, this gives you better suspension, better center gravity on curves and a smooth riding,  better height with the stock shocks and looks unique , no need of welding an extra rings or an extension rod which makes your bike look ugly, Have used a YEZDI rim on the rear with YEZDI tyre which I felt the perfect and the best ratio as it adds up the grip &  performance overall. Last but not least, how can I forget my K&N. I do have a K&N Filter on my bike. Now can anyone imaging how my bike moves and roars.


The bikes top speed issssssss 140 + kmph, 1/4 mile timing is 18-19 seconds. It moves CRAZY...........its a 5 speed gear box, all you got to do is one "D"CLUTCH and it wheelies on a 3rd gear and even on 4th gear....unbelievable right ?


Believe it don't ask me about the mileage, I get a odd 20 per liter or may be less....but who cares...after all what I need is speed and power...most importantly MY BIKE LISTENS TO ME.....its too hard to handle him at high speed as these bikes were not designed for such high speeds.Hence I have fitted an imported Hydraulic Dampers on the front fork, which decreases the vibration & wobbling massively and it makes your bike run Steady and superb. Also makes you feel more confident on high speeds.....I had an issue with stock clutch plates as they use to worn out faster when hit the top end hence replaced it with an imported assembly  and now it ROCKS.


The bike sounds awesome. If  you are at 40 to 50 speed..it sounds so Mild, smooth and innocent, once you cross 50's then it starts ROARING........which is a pleasure to listen......etc etc etc.  My bike is painted yellow and black 4 years ago, is when I got all the above things done. Even today he sparkles and shines and grabs public attention in a fraction of seconds.Overall my bike has a A$$  KICKIN HORSE POWER as it pumps out 18 BHP , you know , i have the same stickered on my byk.  I think thats enough now........Hey....I am on a hunt for RD350. Hope I get an excellent one and probably,  will be back with my RD350 Reviews.
