I bought TVS fiero in September 2002 after much discussion with my friends and relatives. I test drived almost all bikes and found CBZ and Fiero to be good. My friends suggested to me to go for Fiero instead of CBZ. So I went for TVS Fiero.
The outlook of the bike is not as sexy as CBZ or UNICORN but looks pretty good. It has good handling ability and no troubles while riding even after 6 years. The ride is always smooth and steady with good suspension.
It got a super engine and its parts are going excellent still now. Initially I had problem with the company fitted tyres. I changed the back wheel tyre with MRF Zapper which has a larger width. After that I felt more comfortable while riding especially in highways. It gave me good balance and comfort but mileage dropped a bit.
Initially when I bought the mileage was 60-65km/l and now it’s around 40-45km/l .I had covered almost 80, 000km, still now I have not faced any problem with the bike. I use to service once in 6 months or after 3000km, and maintenance cost is also low. I had long journey from Salem to Banglore, Ooty, Tripati and Chennai without any problem. Even at 90-100km/hr I dint felt any vibration or uncomfortableness.
I always feel safe and secure while riding Fiero.I really enjoy riding it and still I am doing it even after 6 years. Its one of the best performance bike I have seen.Fiero is one of my family member now.
