Hi,

I have been using Fiero F2 for the past 6 months. I did a full week's research before I zeroed in on F2. In my comparison list were CBZ, Pulsar 150, Caliber 115, Splendour, Ambition and Passion. My criteria for selecting a good bike were a combination of Power/Performance, Mileage, Cost & Looks. On paper TVS Fiero F2 ranked number one followed closely by Pulsar, then Ambition and Passion. Finally after having decided on F2, I visited the showroom and personally checked out the bike and also took a test drive. The experience was thrilling.

I have been reading about poor service in some of the earlier reviews, however I will differ on it. The TVS showroom staff was courteous and helpful. I bought the bike within a day of having made the decision. I have been driving my bike on bad roads, and so far I have not encountered any major problem. The side stand alarm is extremely useful and can help prevent nasty accidents.

The bike feels like a dream on rough roads. It is stable, powerful and sturdy. The wide handlebars and the carefully designed seat ensure a fatigue free ride. Riding in the top gear at a speed of 50, you get the unmistakable feeling of gliding on the road. And about mileage, you can expect 55-65 kmpl in city conditions and on the highway 67 kmpl. So, I would say that F2 will give a steady mileage between 60 and 65 kmpl depending on the skill and experience of the rider. Many of my friends owning F2 claim a mileage of 68 kmpl, on the highways.

The pickup is amazing 0-60 in 6 secs flat. And the braking is even more amazing. I don't think there is much to be said about the headlamp as much has already been said and it simply is the best available on any other Indian bike. And about the brakes, well it's a delight to brake. The front disc brake is feather-touch sensitive.

One genuine issue may be about skidding on wet roads. So drive carefully when it is raining. But let this not dampen your spirit if you want to buy F2. There are a lot of other features and benefits that out do a single disadvantage and make this bike worth purchasing and recommending.

About the looks, I'll only say that I have never passed anyone who has not turned back for a second glance. And when I am about to park, the bike becomes the center of attention and this is embarrassing sometimes.

In short TVS Fiero F2 is like a sleek, well dressed, efficient and reliable executive. It definitely is a good bike - a class above. You must test-drive it, to believe.

Strap up your helmet. And go for a test drive on this King of a Machine.

Note: Selection of a good service center is critical for a healthy, heart warming biking experience. All the best.
