I had the following issues with TVS Star City(2009) with ES
1) When I bought this bike, I have been instructed not to drive above 40 KMPH till the first service. After the first service, even if I try crossing 40 KMPH, front wheel started wobbling. During my second service, I mentioned this fault. However the issue was not resolved, although they told me that they did wheel balancing and so on. In the third service, the service center person and mechanic told me all the stories but I refused to accept delivery of the bike Finally, they replaced the TVS made tire with a new one, since the molding was uneven, which was causing wheel in-balance!
2) The tire grip on the road is very poor. I fall down 3 times, while applying the brake quickly.
3) If I raid in the rain, the engine stops abnormally. However can start and raid for short distance(i.e., till stops again!)
4) The bumper(may be supplied by the local dealer?) got rusted within 3 months of purchase. This has been replaced with NEW. Well. this again getting rusted. Where is the quality?
Changes required:
1) The side(turning) indicator light in the panel is not visible during day time.
2) Head light High/Low beam switch should be placed in the first(i.e., on the left most) which is operated often and the main light switch in the second place(i.e., right to the dipper switch) which is operated occasionally.
