Satisfied User after riding 1500KM. Review on TVS Scooty Streak

Very good and reliable scooter, right height, right weight, decent pickup and gives decent mileage. Can effortlessly handle upto 120Kgs weight.

Hi I have used mouthshut reviews before making a decision to buy my scooter. Thought I would share my review for the Scooty Streak I have bought.

I have bought this for my wife. Honda Dio was the closest competitor for this, but had a very long wait time so ended up buying Streak.

After riding it for 1500KM, thought it is time for me to write a review and share my experience with others.

Pros:

1) The bike starts with electronic start every day without fail or without needing to give a kick start.

2) Putting on the center stand is very easy and ergonomic once you learn the technick.

3) The Head light moves with the handle, (I don't like bike for which it doesn't)

4) The petrol fill is out side you need not open your seat to fill petrol

5) Lot of leg room of making my kid stand in front or put the luggage.

6) Under seat storage is pretty decent and can accommodate my big helmet easily.

7) Shocks are OK and better elevation from ground to mange small speed breaks and bumps without hitting them.

8) Pick is fine and runs very well until 120Kgs, after that you will feel a little drag when around corners and ups.

9) Looks are personal preference, but I like this one.

10) LED tail lamp looks good.

11) Has charger for emergency phone charging, never used it but.

12) Gives mileage around 40 to 50Kmpl under city traffic riding.

Cons:

1) Before free services, Used to stop in the middle suddenly when I come from High speed to low speed around 20Kmph. But fixed now.

2) Rear view mirror are good for nothing except show-off. I can't see anything except my shoulders in that.

3) Front storage compartment is very small to put anything decent.
