I bought TVS scooty Streak in Aug 2010. I have driven more than 10000 km. Even giving regular service , they told me my crankshaft had problem and cost my Rs.8000 for replacement during Feb 2012 . I gave it for service in 3 months , again in the nxt 3 months I got some noise while driving . 15000 KMS now when I gave it for service, they are telling me the same problem that crankshaft is gone , should be replaced. WORST !!
I had Scooty ES from 2002 to 2010 . I never had any Engine related probs . I trusted and bought Streak and the main engine had problems.
TVS should really bring up their standard , just for light -weight and cost people are going for it.
TVS is suited only for college goers and who travel v less kms. May be after 10000 Kms , nothing works right with the bike !!!!
Pls dont go for it if your case is going to be like mine.
