I had purchased a brand new TVS scooty streak bike on May 2010. All was well for the past one year owing to the proper maintenance and periodic servicing done at regular intervals. Earlier I was doing my servicing in Sai motors, Sector-30 Gandhinagar.But unfortunately this time after a normal servicing at one of the authorised service centres near to my residence,  I had been loaded with so many mysterious problems that had never happened to my bike from the date of its purchase.


I sincerely regret for trusting my bike in the hands of this particular service centre, Sai sales(authorised TVS service centre), Chandkeda, Ahmedabad. Two weeks back my bike was so smooth with no history of complaints. I had left my bike for a routine servicing after 4 months time which included water washing, battery recharging and oil changing. This was the first time I had approached this particular service centre.  After this particular servicing episode the problem started with acceleration control. Though I gave an acceleration of 50-60 the response of the bike was poor. It was not moving more than 20 and I lost control in the main road and luckily survived an accident. I took the bike to the same service centre the very next day and they told me to leave it in the centre for one full day for sorting out this problem. I picked up my bike the next day relying on their false assurances and the same problem recurred and I followed the same procedure as before. But for the third time acceleration control problem was sorted out but problem happened with my self starter. Even after pressing the self starter button for 10 odd times and kick starting for 30 times my bike was not getting started. When I discussed my problem with some other mechanic he told that I need to change my oil and recharge the battery which is an ironic contradiction of what was mentioned in the bill I got for servicing some two weeks back indicating change of oil and full battery recharge.  I had been trying to contact these TVS authorised people to fix the problem for the past 3 days but they either dont respond to my calls or respond sulkily.


Its very much essential to have a proper response system from your service centres. I kindly request the customer care services of TVS to look into my problem and take some mitigation action ASAP.
