Scooty Pep really confuses me. It boggles my mind actually. And I cant understand why anyone would buy this?
Sure as a product its okay. Its kinda nice looking, has the standard features like electric start, gearless transmission, etc. But here is my question. Before buying this, you must decide what you want..
do you want a scooterette? because thats what this is. It is very small in size and 75cc four stroke is very underpowered. two-up you cannot climb inclines. in fact, two people seating is very uncomfortable. But if you want a light and easy vehicle, for your own use, something easy to manouever in traffic - basically a scooterette, why not go for the kinetic Zing or bajaj spirit? they ll cost you about 10,000 rs less and deliver all this that you want.
On the other hand, if you can pay 33000 for this, you may as well pay a little bit more and get a full size scooter like kinetic nova or maybe activa. because then you are getting proper power of 115cc, 4 stroke engine, lots of seating space, storage space, comfortable riding, good suspension etc.
So basically, I think you would have to be a moron to buy a scooty pep. either buy a scooterette and save yrself 10000 rupees or buy a full proper scooter like kinetic nova.
