My Girl's Best friend. Review on TVS Scooty - ES

One day I get a call from Flora.

''Davie , you and I are going out tonight''

''Going out tonight!!! '' I was happy.

''We are going check out couple of Auto showrooms, I need to decide which bike to buy''

DRATS, I said to myself. Going shopping with women is the last thing I ever wanted to do. But going with Flora to choose a bike. I would rather be kidnapped by aliens, or held hostage by international terrorists.

for all the women in Mouthshut:- please, no offense, the only women I had been shopping with is my Mom and Flora and the feeling is still the same. They take forever to decide what to buy and when they do decide , they take forever to get the best deal. I hope someone agrees with me here on MS

She saw this scooty baby and it was love at first sight. She was more interested in going for Scooty, the reasons best known to her.

Was it the looks, or was I boring. Guys you get the message right.

Its as if they were made for each other. Its like there was a mystical magic between them, as if she has found her lost love. She interrogated err.. Questioned the sales guy in the showroom, till there was no energy left in this poor chap. ''I am sorry buddy'' I tell this guy. He couldnt handle her questioning for half hour. I have to live with this girl for the rest of my life. ( of course there are nice things about Flora. Flip side being the shopping part)

She is short ( 5''1 with heels 5''4), so I suggested that she go for TVS CHAMP. so its up to you people to guess what was her reaction. I mean , what she did to me.

She went for a test ride on the scooty. She was Happy. Scooty it is.

I checked out the reviews @ mouthshut . com. The people who didnt recommended this bike had a problem only with the looks. Deja vu actually said this bike is good for girls. yeah , Flora is a girl.

Based on the feedback I got from some of my friends and colleagues, Scooty was the best option. The price was just right and affordable.

For days till the bike got to her , she was telling me what she was going to do with that bike, wherein I was more involved in making up excuses for not going shopping with her. Now that the bike is with her, her shopping spree is going to be regular. ''GOD SAVE ME''

Anyway the purchase was made, through a financier payable at 12 EMI's. And I am doomed because she is now shopping at 35 kmph errr... I mean twice a week. compared to twice a month before the bike came. Hey cmon guys , I can spend all that time reading revu's on MS right.

I personally like this bike. Its comfortable handle and you can easily maneuver avoiding the potholes and road hogs. Its also maintenance free. and currently the bike is giving a mileage of 45 - 50 kmpl. Which is good enough in chennai traffic. ( its now 3 weeks old)

Ok. I have come across girls naming their teddy bears. but with Flora you will find two things ..

1. She has named her boyfriend as teddy bear( thats me, incase you didnt know)
