I obtained the TVS Pheonix bicycle at Ramkay TVS, Chennai and composing this survey after a decent use, to help other people. I will do a followup ride experience as and when I get it overhauled and after particular KMs are finished. So this one is a close Detailed audit starting at this point.

  • Looks and Features-

> The Looks of the bicycle however is somewhat superior to anything Ordinary, yet not the Best. Be that as it may, the exaggerated illustrations from past phoenix(2012 Model) is discounted now. On account of the suttle design. What's more, 3D tokens on its body.

> The outline is held from 2012 model Phoenix, with a slight change in Tank plan and added scoops to the tank.

> The Digital meter is modified which incorporates a Tachometer this time and appears to be roused from Wego's unit. There is an administration update, battery flaw pointer, Trip and Odo meter(with a catch to change its mode). Its a white illuminated not at all like the Red from 2012 model, which is eye satisfying as well.

> A Nitrox suspension is recently added to effectively existing Series spring suspension. What's more, the Suspension is truly awesome.

> The Bike has a Parking/Hazard lights switch(All 4 pointers squinting). Yet, this not at all like Cars, the keys should be on the bicycle to make them work, on the off chance that you are on a parkway.

> There is a vehicle locator that accompanies the Key, just appears to be enlivened from Mahindra Centuro. May be valuable at swarmed stopping places. On squeezing the catch, the markers are flashed for some time to offer you some assistance with locating.

> alternate components are pretty much found in different bicycles.

> The disadvantage unlocking so as to be the seat can't be lifted with the key. It needs utilization of apparatuses to confine the seat. So a little storage room underneath the battery unit is given and that doesn't appear to help much. You need to buy a Tank spread to hold the records.

> The bicycle has discretionary front Disk break for better breaking.

> Overall form quality is best in class and far and away superior to Honda Shine. The bicycle additionally feels light as far as general weight.

  • Riding Experience and Mileage-

> The motor sound upon ignition is smooth yet won't not be immaterial like Honda Shine. The sound is however wonderful. The pickup is useful for Indian streets, Traffic and more down to earth, however feels like a 100-110cc bicycle's pickup, which may grimace you few, being a 125cc bicycle. In any case, thats sufficiently adequate to abstain from hitting vehicles in front of you when you put the first apparatus.

> The bicycle has an extraordinary riding background and is comparable to its rivals. The bicycle feels great on velocities between 40-70 Km/hr.

> There was one issue here, the rigging proportion is severely set for first and second apparatus. In a moderate moving activity you can't settle on wether to stay in first rigging or second apparatus. The first apparatus feels excessively focused on and the second rigging gets thumping on the off chance that you have a tendency to moderate. So an awful apparatus ratio(TVS needs to address this).

> The higher the velocities, the better the ride. The bicycle feels stable and smooth generally.

> The bicycle is greatly certain on turnings even with some hazardous tilts. The 17" TVS tires incredibly are marvelous and doesn't slip to the scarcest. This is best. I feel the tires are entirely more extensive contrasted with Shine's or Discover's tires, which makes Phoenix abstain from wobbling.

> The back break benefits have chomp and the front plate too is great. Sudden breaking doesn't wobble the bicycle. So thats another great point.

> The bicycle's seat has a milder froth recently like that of Jupiter's. So a long rides won't not be agreeable, but rather its agreeable if your trip is under 30-40 Kms. You need to have somewhat harder seat spreads to adjust this out. For my situation I have put a Netted-Seat Cover that makes up for the milder froth and I don't feel uncomfortable on long rides.

> The bicycle is not for individuals shorter than 5'5". In the event that you get on with seat spread, it may be hard to have both legs planted on ground.

> Mileage that I got so far was between 53-57 Kms/Ltr and that ought to be enhanced ensuing administrations. It unquestionably varies on riding propensities as well.

  • Opinion-

By and large, I will suggest this bicycle for its VFM, given the certainty it has a decent riding knowledge and a greater number of components than the vast majority of the 125cc bicycle. The Bike is additionally Rs 5000 less costly than Honda Shine on-street. I claim TVS Jupiter and I should concede that the plastics/metals utilized are truly of wonderful quality. Among the Indian producer like TVS, Bajaj and Mahindra, TVS truly utilizes quality materials to make their vehicles more solid, contrasted with others.
