I am from Chennai, I have bought phoenix 125 two months back from laxmi tvs poonamalle. From the day one I am facing heavy vibration which you will not feel in a ten years old vehicle.i have driven around 1500 kms still facing the problem. I was told 67 kmpl by the company. I thought if I get around 57 it is o.k. but I am getting only 48kmpl. I have complained about these things in my first service but they have simply water washed my vehicle and returned it to me.
I not sure whether they changed the oil. Tvs is advertising it is premium class bike but it is worst class bike.my friends told me not to buy tvs product but I thought they would have learn from their mistakes from the past but it seems they will never learn from their mistakes. I don't understand why they changed the engine kill switch to hazard lamp and they say it is car like feature it is never going to be used anywhere because without key it will not work the side indicator will serve the cause tvs engineers should have commonsense because no one will leave the key and put the hazard lights or if it is working without key some one will put on or off the hazard light.
Either way it is not going to serve its purpose. It is better if they change it to engine kill switch in future and pass switch connection should be given to high beam not low beam. I found only one thing is good that is pickup that too may be I was riding a 100 cc bike earlier(splendor) but it is not advisable go beyond 60 speed.
I did not try that because I am driving it around 40 -55 and I am getting mileage of 48 if I drive in 60 I may be getting only 45. The disc is very good. My suggestion to anyone please never buy this 125 cc star city (only the name is different it looks 85 % like star city ). The people who are driving hero products earlier should never buy any tvs products u will never have satisfaction.
