Hi friends,
Years back when I was on a bike hunt I made sure I dont even look for victor. The only reasons is that they always try to fool us and impress by showing a pic of sachin with the bike. Its not the bike which makes sachin smile but the money tvs offered him did.
Tvs showroom gave me a booklet which tried to make me sure that victor is best in every aspect with ratings. T was compared with Kawasaki Caliber Croma where croma was given 5 star five times in diff. sections and victor was given 5 star four times. Still they round off with victor 5 star and croma with 4. Thats what made me irritated with them thinking me a fool. Thus I made my ultimate decision with croma. And now I have a more powerful 115cc (more speed n pickup), near abt same milleage and a disk brake stylish bike with almost same price.
Victor took its roar just becoz of sachin, infact I appreciate freedom which went on sale with its own efficiency. Believe it or not freedom has more pick up and speed than victor(although both around 109.2cc) and its also same milleage and less price. Even the looks of victor dont impress much with its streched open head lamp, squarish tank structure and rectangle tail lamp. Freedom looks better.
Now if you say I'm just bluffing without even a ride in victor then ur wrong coz ive riden victor, freedom, caliber croma, caliber 115, energy, libero etc. in 110cc and 115cc segments. I even raced with a friend's victor after I bought croma. Basically it never caught up with me once it went back. A top speed of 85-90 is not sufficient for a 110cc bike. Still you don't believe me, just test ride all the mentioned bikes with victor.
Summing up all, guys I really don't find any reason to buy this when u have more power in lesser price. Ok I agree it has good suspension and comfortable seating but thats not enough. If you are sure to buy victor 1st take a test ride on caliber 115 and freedom etc. And then take the best decision for yourself. And remember, don't go with advertisements, Sachin won't come and smile with you.
