Hi! I was confused before buying bike between Activa and Jupiter . . . . I took hell lot of test drive for both the bikes but I found TVS Jupiter the best as Jupiter has less bumpy ride and have very attractive features. So I choose, Decided and gone for TVS Jupiter . . . . TVS JUPUTER good powerfull scooter, smooth when it runs above 50 kms, if looking for scooty, please go ahead with this jupiter, excellence award for 2016. nice structure, good shape, nice tyres, good suspension but sometimes sound, eco meter nice. Tips to make it smooth: Ride hard/Power mode/Faster for couple of minutes then you will find smoothness around 40-50 KM/Hr speed. Maintain Tyre pressure once in a week. I travel in city only for about 50 to 55 km’s daily . I Ride my other bikes as well Hero Maestro & Bullet but I always find TVS Jupiter something special it has got it never shake even when you cross near truck or on your 80km speed this bike never disappointed me even it gives me 50 to 55 knoll mileage and comfortable riding its head lambs are also great.so over all I will say it's a masterpiece made by TVS . Never tried under seat charger. Sound - Difference between ECO and Power as its states. I have switched from Royal Enfield Thunderbird to TVS Jupiter ZX. Thunderbird was a bike in which comfort was not a botheration watsoever, so when I decided to buy Jupiter I was little worried about the comfort part but to my surprise this scooter is so comfortable with advanced telescopic shocks in front and gas filled shocks in the rear which is much comfortable on hard roads than expected. But that dosent mean you can drive very hard on bumpy pot holes. For a scooter that too monoshock it offers a very decent back support. Looks too are very good. The new biege plastics are adding value for the looks. Ride quality is absolutely superb. True value for money. Slightly unstable beyond 70 Kmph. If you drive this Scooter deliberately in economy mode then it may touch average of up to 58 to 60 kmpl. Turning signal buzzer is low in volume which should be amplified slightly. External Fuel lid, Spacious, Hooks, Pass Switch, Rear brake look are really useful and convenient.
TVS JUPITER Good For: Professional officer choice looking, good average, nice suspension and griping, smooth acceleration, no starting trouble, attracting. Braking - Never skids like Apache. Provides confident on driving.
Suspension - Better than other scooters.
Top Speed - Reached 85, felt under control. This Scooter has awesome looks, style and performance. Fuel refill at rear is simply innovative and convenient. Engine firing is very smooth and feels like you are riding bike.
This scooter is masterpiece of tvs as I said before just give him kill switch braking should be made more tighter it make difficult on emergency braking need more engine exhaust vents as fill hot air on my leg while driving sometimes engine makes sounds or scooter vibrates partially.
TVS JUPITER Average For: Plastic front body, no trip meter, no combi break, no digital meter. Look - Feels like Auto but solid.
Acceleration - Slow and Steady.
Smooth - At some point around 40-45 KM/HR speed it feels smooth, This bike has disadvantages no 1 is its belt gets slippery or making noise on every 5000 km and it's brake need to be improved*
