TVS is trying to make a fool of all customers with the stupid new motorcycle TVS centra. There is absolutely nothing new in this motorcycle. TVS is trying to make it look as if the engine is some fancy high tech engine ''with VT-i'' technology - when the fact is that ALL ENGINES ARE LIKE THAT. TVS motor are just trying to make a big deal about - NOTHING!
They did this stunt earlier with ''rectangular swing arm'' - which almost all motorcycles have but TVS made it look like only their bike has it, and its some big advanced thing .. TVS thinks that Indian consumer is an idiot that they can run some big campaign making it look like their bike is special when its just rubbish.
It is nothing but the ugly old TVS max with a 100cc 4 stroke engine. Thats all. This bike offers absolutely nothing new to any customer. This bike will not give any promised 100 kmpl mileage to anyone under any condition. Bajaj also tried to say that with BYK - 100 kmpl. All nonsense. The centra will give same mileage as any other 4 stroke bike only.
so if you are a stupid fool, then go for the Centra. If you are smart, then make a better choice with your money. Here is my advice for those looking to buy a good for a good price:
Good ol' Hero Honda splendor - buy this bike for its reliability, solidity and reputation. There is not a single reason to select the Centra over the splendor.
Kinetic Velocity - the Velocity, for almost the same price gives a lot more benefits - it is distinctively styled with great fit n finish, has 115cc engine, a twin textured anti skid seat, superior rear adjustable suspension, complete instrumentation including a tachometer with power-economy modes and pass light, a big petrol tank, a dual mode electronically mapped CDI which is throttle actuated and microprocessor controlled, great quality Zapper tyres, and unusually good handling.
The reason I recommend Velocity here is that it offers everything that most commuters need and adds a welcome dash of refinement and class. So there are compelling reasons to select Velocity over Splendor.
But there is not a single reason to select TVS Centra. TVS knows that. That is exactly why they are trying to invent a reason - by hiding behind creating image of vt-i engines and 100 kmpl fuel efficiency - all lies and customer deception - because they have nothing else to offer!!!
