First of all, I would like to make it clear that this is about the service that I got from Tristar TVS after having bought the bike.
Till the first few months my bike was going just fine. There were no problems at all. Then after my free services got over and I gave it to the service station for the first paid service, problems started cropping up. The dipper would not work, the horn would die out sometime and then come back again, the electric start would not work sometimes.. And the one that takes the CAKE, there was a hard click sound coming from the chain every time I would accelerate. Even at the speed of 20. I went and told about these to the TVS service guys, and told them that the chain was getting cut which is why the noise was coming.
And also that I was facing so many other problems. They fixed the other problems.. but what they did with the chain was that they lubricated it so much that it would not make that noise. But fortunately I was a day late in collecting the bike and when I test rode it, there was still a faint noise coming. I got furious and told teh mechanic to do everything in front of me, and he said that he would not tell me anything what he is going to do and asked me to sit in the lounge area. I did not bow down to that and overlooked the process.
The strange part comes now. He clearly told me that there is no problem at all with the bike and that the chain needed to be lubricated..But he changed the front sprocket..free of charge. And then tells me that its because of me that the bike was not in proper shape. I live 2 kms from my office.I ride the bike only to office and back, and other days i take the car out..
These guys screwed up my bike, probably changed the chain, because it was still jumping.. And now after another max 2000 kms i will have to change the sprocket and the chain again. Which would again cost me another 2 grand. I am never going to go to tvs tristar again for a service. I am warning all of you as well. Please be careful.
