today my review about is Apache Rtr 160. I bought it 2nd hand in 2015 I just love this beast.Yes this a beast bike under 150-180 cc bike segment. This bike has everything you can dream from an Indian sports bike. I heard lots of things and finally I can't resist my self from this bike. When I bought this bike it rode only 400 kms so my buying decision is appropriate now few months ago I was sell it and that time I all ready 7500 kms on this beast.
what I likes about this bike is
1.style, looks aggressiveness
2.sitting comfort for daily usage
3.handling best in its class
4.power, is the main thing about this bike . You can fly just in a blink and best for India users specially for racing lovers. In every gear just throttle and get speed my top speed on this bike above 130 km
5.Quality of engine, after buy it second hand still the engine response is same as new bike. best bike long tours with pillion riders even my friend have this bike he use it for 5 years engine quality as same as new one nothing worry about engine
6.Clip-on handle bars, good amount of feed back you get while riding smoothly or even racing time and you can cornering the bike with confidence, though sitting position is slightly aggressive but handle is up ride so your arms can't pain so much when you go for long rides.
7.Both tires are tubeless so nothing worry about puncture
- breaks best in its class so far according to me
what I don't like
1.no power in 1st gear so you have change to 2nd gear for get your position and power
- fuel consumption, may be more than this on other bikes
3.price of spear part is very expensive
- when you are 3rd gear there is some jerking on handlebar due to Apache is vibration I don't know why it is still there but in 4-5 th gear its gone
6.seats are not cushion enough specially on pillion rider seat it is little bit harder side
Apart from this, This is the real beast because we know Apache is Racing DNA in Indian sports bike specially on 160 cc segment no one can beat 100 meters short race. And this bike for all purpose use and it fit with everyone.
I suggest to every one who looking for good value for money bike for daily purpose use and those people who want love of speed. No age barrier 18-50 any body can take this bike. Best bike for every Indian consumers.
