TVS Apache is bike which makes bike cruising a pleasure, It is a one of the wonderful motorcycle in Indian roads ever happened to be. A really a great bike to posses and unleash the powers
It was a last minute choice of mine with crossed fingers hoping on Apache even I did not ride on any TVS bike before. It was a bold decision and I think the decision paid off.
I have driven many bikes
for long range right from Yezdi,Hero’s CD100, CD100SS, Splendor, Yamaha RX100(80’s),YBX, TVS Victor,TVS Victor GLX, TVS CENTRA, Bajaj Pulsar and others.All models have there own pros and cons features which suit diversified indian customers.
Apache is the bike which has given ultimate riding pleasure, all because of ergnomics and handling.
Design and looks: Park your vehicle somewhere, walk some fifty feet away, sit down and look at it. just look at it!! the head lamp is damn good.. it looks as if the bike is actually starin at you.. Its really got attitude man.. Riding it is another experience man!! love every inch of my apache
Tank Design is greatly sculpted and exactly fit to kness and pleasure while riding and has good knee grip. This is very useful coz it really helps when one has a acccident and his knees are prevented from damage unlike Pulsar and Unicorn( no offense both bikes are also good)but but to large and prone to scratches when parked in tight parking areas.
Pick up is excellent. I myself have done about 3000 kms and the pick up rocks. reminds me of RX 100.
Suspension is one the great thing which TVs apache Provides. provides, great comfort even for pillion rider.The rear shock ups are Gas filled shoks and they are adjustable
Braking: Front brake is sharp and excelent, While rear drum brake is not sharp requires front brake applying for effective braking (Generally in india its habit to apply only rear brake).
Starting the bike :The other new feature is a high voltage spark plug that produces a longer flame front, which also ensures that spark duration lasts as much as six times longer (1,200 milliseconds, instead of 200 milliseconds) compared to normal spark plugs. So guys no more cold starts. bike starts in matter of seconds
Handling : Engine handling is very smooth.Also TVS apache has got great manouverability.you got to ride to believe it. . With a 147.5cc engine, that spits out a peak power of 13.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm,this is really a beast Hands will notsuffer from pain, as itdoes not requires ample effort to hold the handle
I did couple of rounds from mumbai to Pune say 200 kms and th journey was quite good.
Mileage:Excellent Mileage. its giving me 54- 55 KPL in city traffic and 60-62 on highways. what else buddy?Also the bike has 2.5 L of reserve so no worries when the Petrol cos go on strike.
Apache is good enough for 60000 price tag as there is satifaction. One can buy this model with out hesitation.
As the ad says "Now or Never"", it is true. Get it now or be left out.
