I am using Tvs apache 160 for last 5 years. I purchased this bike in back 2010 in black colour and still using this bike and it still preforms well for me. After using of five years here I am going to write some positive and negative points on this bike which I noticed in last 5 years of experence.
Positive points
First of all Tvs is an Indian company and believe me Tvs is leading in their automobiles.
Tvs apache comes in 160 cc and 180cc and I am using 160 cc
Apache bike has a solid engine, no other company can compete this bike in matter of engine. My bike is still performs a smooth drive even I love fast driving.
It has a solid look and sitting is comfortable
It nearlly performs an average of 45 km/ltr. Which is very good for sports bike
Gear shifting is also smooth
All other parts of bike like lighting, wiring, body parts etc all are still in good condition after 5 years and doesn't find any kind of prob.
The only cons I found in this bike are mentioned below
Negative points
This bike comes with very slippery tiers. Here slippery tier means the orignal tiers are not good, on behalves of my personal experience they are very slippery and uncombined or I don't know exact problem but they are not good. If you are driving Tvs apache on a wet road then it's like driving on a pealed banana. I got hurted many times with same prob. But I solved this problem by chamging its rear tyre with another brand.
Carburator is not good. I am experiencing problem in carburator since last one year and their service man are also failed to resolve my problem and told me to install new carburator without finding any particular problem in carburator. I am.not satisfied with this
Prices of spare parts are very high even spare parts are not available in their agencies and they mostly order parts as per customer requirments which takes many days.
Overall I love this bike still love to drive this and it permorms very well. If you are looking for a stylish, heavy duty sports bike with good milage at decent price then I will suggest this bike. You can choose between 160cc or 180 cc as per your requirments but this is best bike at this price range. Its best part is its engine and design with comfortness.
