Hi,
Before commenting anything on Apache (A150), I want to be clear on one thing.. I am a very big fan of P150 and the only reason to go for an Apache is there are too many P150s on the road.
But I think I made a good choice by going for an A150.
I think the USP for Apache is her looks and the smooth gear box.
Looks : The bike looks damn kool and always inviting you to go for a long ride. The black alloy wheels adds more to guarantee a second look.
Color: Color quality is better that competition and looks good with the back alloy wheels. I selected the red color. ( I had a black color Rx. So wanted to try out some other color. By the way RX is still the best bike in India). Ok coming back to Apache, Red color comes with the red colored gas shocks which is something new.
Perormance: As of now I have clocked 620 Kms and the bike will go for the first service ( of course free) tomorrow.
This 620Km experience was wonderful.
The power,pickup is very very good.
Suspensions: are also good, and when I say good its really good, cause I drive on Bangalore roads. The if its good on bangy roads just imagine how good it is, considering the bangy road conditions.
But cannot say that suspensions better that competition. It is equally good as P150.
Staring: No starting trouble. The bike is ready to go in first kick in the morning.
Tyres and road grip: Wide and bigger tires gives you an extra bit of confidence which I was always looking out in my RX.
Fuesl economy: I clocked 540kms with 10 Ltrs of petrol. Hope this will improve after another 1000Kms.
But I am happy with this also, as this is the best fuel economy I got on any of my bikes :)

Servicing: I purchased this bike from Bridgstone TVS. They looks like very good service providers. They called me twice and asked how the bike is doing, milage and any probs with the bike.
So far there are no probs. Will write on the service part aftter doing my first servicing.
I heard a lot about the vibration @ more that 60-70. I didn’t experience this kinda vibration at least in my bike. The reason could be because I have not gone past 50.
But ideally speaking any mechanical thing is suppose to vibrate at high rpm. So that is something which I don’t care. Not just because this is my bike.
Brakes: This is the department where I thing TVS has done kool job. Front is is pretty good and even the rear brakes and also of good quality.
Machine: The machines is as smooth as butter, and always ready to overtake any other vehicals ( please don’t read it as P150 and start debating in comment section) :)).
comfort : The bike is very comfortable for me, as I am 5'9''. The sitting position is perfect. No back pains or neck pains. Also all switches are pefectly placed and very easily available while driving.
So here goes a “ TWO THUMBS UP” for TVS guys for coming up with such a good bike. Way to go TVS.
Oh, did I mention that the bike is 3500 less that P150. ( one good example of customer getting benefited because of a close competition)
