I bought my first router Tp-link 740N wireless router at rs 700 online.My friend suggest me to buy this router so I did.Its a good router.It has a simple UI and many great features like parental control, speed controlling and ip blocking etc.
I use this at my home about 10 hours daily and it perform good without being disconnected.Its has a speed of 150mbps which is good for home use.It allows many devices to connect at a time.I suggest you to try this one if you have a budget of 800 rs.
