Never ever buy any life insurance policies from TATA AIG.
TATA AIG sent an sms on 2Feb12 saying that a cheque sent against my Tata AIG Life policy no xnnnnn has been returned as Undelivered. I contacted them and sent relevant details to update my address in their system. They took almost month(13 feb 12 to 10 march 12) to update the address after escalating to their grievance cell.
After that I asked them to send the returned cheque to the new address on 13th March 12 and till date (17th April 12) no one has bothered to send the cheque despite sending 7 emails. I have also escalated this to their grievance redressal email ids provided in their web site but has not yielded any result.
Last email from Ishita Samajdar, so called Executive of Grievance Redressal Cell, was on 2nd April 2012 who pasted the standard template saying that they are DEEPLY CONCERNED!!! and are in the process of retrieving the cheque and will send it by 16th April 2012. Come on! more than a month to resend the cheque?? Are they kidding... perhaps yes looking at the current situation.....
I had sent her 3 emails and she has not bothered to respond till date. I escalated the matter with their escalation email ids manager.customtakeoutersupport@tata-aig.com, head.customtakeouterservices@tata-aig.com, customtakeoutercare@tata-aig.com, life.complaints@tata-aig.com but all seem to be so busy that they have not even seen my email I believe! It is highly unprofessional attiMr_customtakeouter, arrogance and being shameless to the core.
What we get is the standard "Thank you for writing to us" email like a puppet.
I have decided to approach consumer court in Bangalore and sue the insurance company with a hefty price for
Wasting my time for nearly 2 months in this process.
giving false date just to escape from the situation.
No response from the higher ups who are supposed to be addressing customtakeouter issues.
For wasting my time and energy in chasing the matter since such a long time.
Request the readers to also give me some additional pointers which I can add in my claim. given a chance I would like to see these executives and people involved behind bars for several years.
