I have been working with SYNTEL for 3 months and in these three months I have realized the torture I have to go through at SYNTEL.
Here's the reason,
First and foremost night shift, well I have no issues with that its a common scene with almost most of the MNC's but the mess is the 1)STRETCH THE 2)PRESSURE AND THE 3) CONSIDERATION they pay in turn is simply Exploitation in the name of opportunity for a fresher!!!
When I said stretch Its understandable at times or rarely but the case here is my shift timing is 6.30 pm to 3.30 am IST but by default have to stretch up to 5.15 am daily or at times 6 am IST and that's almost 11-12 hrs shift!!!!(and ya no pay for overtime)
And it ends not here...
2)PRESSURE even this term is quite common when it comes to corporate world BUT here it is that bad dont even get the time to utilize the break time of 1hr at times only 30-40 mins and while on work all you have to do is just keep on working continuously...
And it ends not here....
3)Now comes the consideration Don't even want to discuss after such a huge time and effort given to the co what they are paying is what you can earn in a part time job from any other MNC.
No doubt you get to learn from your job but other way is learning can also be done in the stipulated work hrs and in a proper environment you work in...
And last to be mentioned you have to be working let it be Diwali, Christmas or let it be a new year (may very with different departments)okay but what they don't even pay you extra for that what they say is to take a leave on any other day as the comp-off gets credited into our a/cs but to be frank its been two months since Holi and I cant see even that happening
may be this or this may not be the case for everyone but at the end of the day I would say keep SYNTEL for the cases if you are looking ONLY to make experience...
Yep, that's the scenario with me good if you are not facing any such night mare being at SYNTEL..
Looking forward for any good opportunity that will get me out from here..
