This is one of the worst public sector bank. Me and my father had very bad experience with Syndicate Bank. My father used Syndicate Bank account at Pokkunam Branch, Kottayam, kerala. He is business men who have 5-7 bank account. I used Syndicate Bank Karunya Nagar, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu during 2004-2006, while I was studying my MBA at Karunya University. We had only Syndicate Bank in Karunya Nagar in early years and now they have some other banks. Since opening, we had very bad experience with very poor English speaking ability at bank staff level and they behave very badly at us. They always delay in the service and very slow at moving their jobs so the customer needs to wait so long to move on.
The worst thing is their ATM’s are down always and we need to come back and check ATM service ability so many time in a day. My father had very bad experience with Syndicate Bank account at Pokkunam Branch. When he was taking DD for my semester fee, he had some doubt so he asked the bank staff, he behaved very badly. My father said, I am so educated like you and I am businessmen and no other bank manager behaved badly to me. They always have good behave and try to make me to keep this account for ever. My father felt very bad and he says I have been doing since my 20th age and use banks for my business purpose.
This is my first worst experience and he closed the account in 2006. He still continues with his Canara Bank account. Their ATM’s are always down and staff behaviour is worse. How cans a small bank like this will be behaving like this. How can be believed in them, when he have to big business men and who uses banking facility for so many years. Most of these staffs are highly paid with some of them came through reservation. I never like to open an account with Syndicate Bank in my life as I had very bad experience with them. No good customer will like to have account with such bank like Syndicate Bank. Syndicate Bank is worst in terms of bank staff beaver, service quality, ATM facility and services, other banking facility, very less number of branches. So if anyone who wants to have good services from his banker, her should never go near Syndicate Bank as you will face very bad service and will get humiliated by your banker where as you will get respect in good banks.
