Works for Two person But Best for a Single Person. Review on Symphony Sumo Desert Air Cooler

I studied in Delhi For my Graduation and summers can be really cruel if you are living on the top floor with just a single ceiling fan. I and my roommate didn't go for AC for multiple reasons.The price of brand new AC was way out of the budget and you can' t trust a used AC too though most people suggested. Some people advised us to rent it which again was a bit risky after heard stories of after return deposit deductions. Even the situation of electricity availability in Delhi is in dire straits.

The back up electricity didn't support AC though anyways we wouldn't have afforded it so we finally decided to buy Symphony Desert Air Cooler because it was affordable plus low electricity costs and easy to move around in the room, it just fit right into our expectations. Don't underestimate the cooling effect of the fan though it won't cool your entire room. People need to understand that if the air coolers had the same effect as AC then why would anyone buy an AC?  We need to be realistic with our expectations. This works wonders if you place next to study chair or your bed as the fan takes turns to cover your entire physical body.

Though I shared a room with a roommate we were pretty satisfied with its performance. It does require some physical work to make it function efficiently. We often took turns to fill in the water however you need to be patient while pouring water through the small vent at the front bottom which opens half way otherwise do an additional job of cleaning the spilled water on the floor. They could have done a better work in designing and positioning the switches. The body is made of plastic which has both a plus and a negative point about it such as if you opt for a iron cooler it might get rust and in this case you have no such problems and since it is plastic so a it is a bit fragile but again you won't be playing football with it so no serious issues regarding it. The most important point people have to remember after buying this cooler is that you have to call someone professional to clean this from inside because you won't be able to do it as it is very complicated and you might end up damaging this machine. There is one major problem that we faced twice while using it, that the water started leaking from the bottom but after calling the customer service guys it was resolved.

The reason I chose to buy from Symphony is because they have championed in this category of air coolers and have a pretty wide presence of customer service across the city. My cousins who stay outside their hometown had bought this 10 months ago upon my recommendation and they had a smooth ride during the summers.
