The worst thing about the symphony aircooler is it does not work at all to write any review and say something like it works like this or that. I bought symphony Hi Cool for Rs. 4150 + 41.50 + 50 (Rs. 4241) which went total waste.
This junk machine looking like a dust bin and behaving very similar to a dust bin, I bought from saravana stores, T. nagar, chennai, on saturday May 21 2005. We had to bring it home by an auto spending over Rs 100 and when we reached home with great enthusiasm we filled the aircooler with water and switched ON.... just to see that nothing is happening. Its absolutely silent no air blowing no indication of whether the machine is ON or OFF or any sound or slightest vebration on any fan....nothing!!! Abosolutely nothing!!! just like a dust bin as it looks!!!
We were totally disgusted and could not sleep properly for having spent around Rs. 4500 and bought a dust bin like aircooler... We went to the saravana stores, t nagar, chennai and talked to the sales person who sold us this machine, Mr. Senthil kumar, and some more sale men and other staff, Mr. Iyyapan, Mr. Chinna kutti, Mr. Babu.... All in vain...they just said they will try and get some service person to get the new machine repaired...
Imagine you buy a brand new aircooler from Symphony and to start the cooler it needs a repair... we had call saravana stores three times before going there personally and informing them of them defective machine they have sold us. The saravana stores never responded to any phone call properly they always made us wait long on phone and ultimately...they cut the line... To add there is no phone number of the symphony or any chennai address of the company... Total cheating from symphony... I am very much thinking of going to the consumer court...
My advice never buy Symphony any aircooler unless you are in Ahemadabad, because the symphony is present in ahemadabad and you can directly go and get them... If you are in any other part of country and dont want to waste money never buy any symphony aircooler... I should have bought kenstar...
l made a very big and costly (Rs. 4500) mistake.... you dont do it...
