After reviewing a lot of in room air coolers, I selected Symphony tower cooler for its sleek design and claimed product features.I bought Symphony diet 50i from Vijay Sales Gurgaon on 10 May 2015. After fitting the wheels we filled up the water and started the cooler. However, the water indicator started buzzing and showing red warning light despite the water tank being full. The cooling button also does not work. In effect, the water pump motor seems faulty.
I called up Vijay Sales and was told that the complaint cannot be generated on Sunday. Then I registered the product for warranty on the same day on symphony website the warranty no. being 0716215240770. Thereafter, I logged the service request and received an email and SMS confirming the same. The service request no. generated was FA-SH-10E15014 and the details of contact person were Krishan Kumar
This person did not contact me, instead I contacted him and he confirmed that the complain will be attended by 11 May 2015 in the afternoon. Now, I am calling this no. but the person does not even have the courtesy to pick up the call.I am stuck, the cooler does not work, the dealer does not respond, the service engineer is not picking up the phone. It looks like a wrong decision to purchase symphony cooler. I need this complaint to be resolved urgently.
I am not rating the product as there has been no use so as per me today it stands as a nil rated product.
Continuing from where I left last time the problem has been resolved after visit of SE. The cooler is working OK but performance is nothing to rave about. Some of the advice given by SE is quite intriguing; namely do not fill complete water; do not move with water filled(thus making the wheels useless).
It is a cooler which keeps the area where you have kept it OK, cannot be compared with a desert cooler. One good point is it does not make too much noise.
