I earlier had Usha air cooler, which ran efficiently for 7 years without any problem. When the air cooler became very old, thinking that Symphony being the market leader, it owuld be a better choice, I bought it in March 2014.
From day 1 I started encountering problems. I have not even effectively used it for 6 months problems galore. The pump had to be replaced. Now the cooler does not get turned on. The service mechanic does not give timely response. Moreover, the maintenance protocol is too much. I did not have to do any maintenance for Usha air cooler. It was robust. Symphony is junk. Please do not go for it. Usha is far far better.
