Hello friends,
i have seen most of the students (aspiring MBA's) confused after CAT/MAT.one of the main reason behind this , what I think , is the grooming which has been done to the candidates while preparing for their entrance examinations. all the coaching institutes show the candidates a salary of 7-10 lacs after MBA.
Friends I would like to tell you all one thing,i.e getting a salary of 7-10 lacs annually for a freshers is next to impossible .so plz. dont be in this view that just by completing ur MBA ur going to get handsome salary.
Placement totally depends on your efforts and college has just about 30% role in getting u placed.(any MBA college) Its u who have to do all the hard work and upgrade ur knowledge according to the markets requirement. u have to change ur attitude a lot within those 18 months of stay at institute. this can be only done with maximum exposure of market and vigorous reading.
I have seen many student selecting institute on the basis of advertisement, infrastructure and extra curricular activities ( which attracts them the most). thats a wrong way. I think one should look for the course curriculum offered and the faculty and exposure the institute is going to provide u.
As far as placement is concern, average students have to fetch it for themselves. and this is a fact.
plz. don't make a demarcation for urself that u need a job of 4 lacs packages only and blah blah.....
be ready to grab any opportunity which comes to u. once ur in any corporate sector with any packages its urs skills which will help to move ahead.
So plz. decide what u want........... this decision is going to effect ur whole life.
