The first time I went to this place was for a meeting. Unfortunately, that day I was fasting and couldn't eat anything. All I could do was watch other people ordering, so I could only see what others ate. So from that perspective the food looked amazing. The way they blended fruits with the ice creams made it look very appealing and appetising. I was regretting going to that place while fasting.
In terms of ambience the place was okay. It is as though they have set up the seating arrangement on the balcony of the mall. There are corners around the pillars where one can have romantic evenings over ice cream, but in terms of value, nothing too great.
Just to ensure I get my redemption I made sure to go back to Swensens so I could get a taste of what my eyes had already been pleased with. But, didn't live up the the standard I had raised it. It was pretty decent tasting along with the fruit flavours as well.
It is mainly the pricing of these ice creams which gives me the literal chills. It is so expensive for no great reason. The seating is average, ice creams are only superficially good looking but taste wise okay.
All in all, Swensens is a place you could probably try once or twice but not worth it to waste your money here.
