We had been to Swathi Greenland to celebrate my Dad’s B’day yesterday(3rd Nov, 14). Being in Vijayanagar we get very few options to select a good dine out non-veg restaurant. I googled out Swathi Greenland and was confident after reading reviews on it.
To start with the ambience was good. We had ordered for soups with starters. It was fine. We ordered biriyani(both chicken as well as mutton) for our main course. There the disaster started. The biriyani they served were STALE! We couldn’t eat! We called the in charge and informed him that the food served was not palatable. We also offered him the same and asked him to taste. But Mr.Sunil(fair, thin guy without mustache) just said he cannot do anything about it.
There was no bit of courtesy or professionalism in him. We were all so disappointed and our celebration mood turned to be a disaster because of this guy’s attitude. We tried to reach out to other staff, but they brought back him only and he was just as blunt as you can’t help it. We requested him to at least clear the table as we no longer wanted to see the stale food and deteriorate our mood further. Even for that he was not responding. After calling him several times he sent someone to clear the table. Again to place order(as we were terribly hungry by then) we had to wait for ages for someone to come to our table. I had taken my 3 years old daughter along with me. She was so eager to eat the biriyani as she was hungry.
We forcefully had to stop her as the food was stale and she had to wait for ages till someone came to our table for order. The charges were on the higher side and we were completed bogged down that even after paying so much none of us had a proper meal. No one bothered to come and offer an apology or at least a sign of courtesy or for any feedback. The customer service is the worst here! Beware kindly do not go there with family if you want to have a good and peaceful dinner or lunch!
