So here we are, looking and thinking what a bike, well yes guys that what must be thinking right away . oh! those gorgeous looks and digital chronometer which tells everything( remember the suzuki zeus which it had you tell which gear you belong to). I was stunned the frist time I saw it on t.v. and I thought it was awesome but when I finally got real thing(yeah! in my dreams) I was 20% disappointed. let me tell you something about this new baby machine from the big daddy Suzuki Intruder 1800 which would cost u your about 12 lakhs. This machine looks mean and free and yes Masculine, good for those who wants to look macho. Now most of it is from the carben fibre so you got to have a feeling of too much of plasticity but hold on, it durable as is the machine which is straight from the sports bike Suzuki Gixxer which have 6 gears but this one have five but not fret my brother as the engine is far more refined then the Bajaj Avenger and the gears are more slick then the avenger .Now let me give you some epiphanies, shall i?
- Start the bike and feel no vibrations at all .The NHV(NOISE, HARSHNESS AND VIBRATIONS) ARE the lowest ever encountered in a two wheeler(even much better then my eleven year old Honda Unicorn) so smooth that you are actually cutting butter with reall warm knife, soooo smooth! Gear form into it's places like a peace of cake, you gona love this. Yes the engine comes from the gixxer and so the chasis but the company modified engine for the crusier style .5/5 the most stylish bike to date
2.Mileage kya hai baap.Indians always asks the first question so riding this 45kmpl in the city and 60kmpl on the road with and easy hold on the throttle this machine is good for a summary of 50kmpl. just like its arch rival The mighty Avenger150 which I think made the suzuki r&d department to make this beauty. 4/5
3.Comfort is something that is subjective, you know from person to person perspective. From my point of view the comfort is awesome and it can make you feel like God.Freeeeeeeeeeeee!.But hold there, you cross the 80kmah and it doesn't feel as stable as other arch rivals. Blame the rear Tyre that isn't so broades as the Avenger but who gonna ride 100pkmh, will you, I guess never. yes its really comfortable and creamy but pillion rider might show some uncomfortable seating as the pillion rider doesn't have anything to hold on to.Perfect for the rider but in the city like Avengers the the legs going up and down could be a bit cumbersome unless you have legs like Schwarzenegger. Comfy really comfy. 4/5
4.Reliability is not an issue at ALL! the engine comes from the Gixxer and so does the whole chassis and even the handlebars .Refined to the point of disbelief, i can simply say it neverwill fail you ever um! unless of course you dont take care of this Freedom ride or some crazy mechanic messes with it. its reliability is bullet proof . 5/5
5.Road grip is excellent but not as good as the Avenger(hey!you cant have your cake and eat it too all the time) brother readers but machine doesn't lets you that much but enjoying the ride is all that matters when you chose this . Cornering on this bike is very easy so you wont be missing your sports bike much. 3.5/5
6.Appeal is so massive that you would be irritated everybody looks at it. A posers delight. With those digital headlamps and open armed riding like you are just not feeling Godly but with your wide open to the world looks everybody is your friend. the in he most appealing cruiser yet.
Pros: very appealing, exhaust note is really good, very reliable, comfortable and yes it comes from Suzuki so no problemo!
Cons:the rear tyre looks small and is only serious oversight, key of the ignition at odd place.
