Firstly thanks all for the reviews on Hayate which helped me to decide
Background: Why Suzuki? I had Suzuki Fiero-2001 model(F1). It gave me consistent engine performance(mileage and power) for a decade, till I sold my sweet heart. That was one of the reason to go for Suzuki again.
I had brought my Suzuki Hayate on 10th Feb 2013 from Value Suzuki Bangalore. Done 520 kms till now.
- Mileage 63kmpl, 1st service not done(expecting 75 kmpl after 3rd service)
-> Engine is Butter smooth.
-> Commute daily from Tin factory to Indian express circle (around 25kms). Its a ideal city traffic condition
-> Great price with the kind of performance it is giving
-> Can run in top gear at lower speeds like 20kms on a flat road, this is useful to avoid frequent gear shifts
Its looks are excellent and the shocks are super when is comes to dealing with smaller unevenness in the road. You never feel that the road is uneven.
