Wow truly a great bike from Suzuki in terms of character, performance and fun. Suzuki Gixxer is one of most fun to ride in 150cc category below?1, 00, 000/- category. The engine is very peppy and is very refined too. The engine revs linearly without any surprises which along with great exhaust note encourages you to ride it more.
But what is the let down is gear box. As after 90km/hr the engine feels over reved and I felt a 6 speed gearbox like gs150r would have been great. And the gear shifts are little hard. But I felt it was intentional to give you the feel while shifting gear, though it is fun while riding on highway or enthusiastic riding it's really irritating while riding in city.
Brakes are fantastic and offer good stopping. But rear brake pads keep constantly brushing against the disk. Have complained multiple time at service centre but issue still persists.
Suspension is little stiff for my liking. I could feel the impact from even from the patch works done on road. But I think because this charactestic the bike feels very stable even at 3 digits speed. Added to this seat is little ha
Apart from these the illumination headlamp is poor and is not sufficient.
But overall it is an excellent bike. I got mileage of 45- 48 in mixed riding conditions with little aggressive riding.
