I bought Suzuki Gixxer on January 2015, I was a new user then. I wanted an Bike which primarily focuses on Safety. Being a new user my braking skills where not at all good and previously I had skidded on some other bikes, wont name company because may be it was my immature riding. Still given that, Suzuki Gixxer came out well for me, its braking and stability is actually awesome even for new riders.
Next on Priority was Affordability and Performance. My primary motive to buy a bike was to use it for office commute. I travel around 60 km Per day on western Express Highway, Mumbai. Given my Route I Needed an bike with quick pickup, light an easy to handle in order to tackle Mumbai traffic. One of really thoughtful feature in Gixxer is that it displays time and also the gear in which you are riding, this feature is really helpful especially for new riders like me, and time function is really helpful and very practical.
On Affordability part this bike gives an mileage of 55+ which is really good for kind of pick up it has, although on higher speed I feel its little week and u need little efforts, but given Mumbai's and other crowded city road conditions that wont be a problem.
Overall its a very good bike and would definitely suggest everyone to go for it.
