Still very much enjoying the ride and this month I found myself really appreciating the Gixxer’s riding position. Not so much for its comfort or sportiness but because of how well you can grip the motorcycle. The exaggerated flares in the tank work well to lock the knees in, even for taller riders and the heel plates are also very functional. But once the bike was back from its first service Suzuki seems to have solved the issue with a simple addition of preload on the rear shock. To be honest I never had an issue with the preload in the first place but once the bike was back I loaded it up with a pillion and went hunting for speedbreakers. Not one made contact so that’s one issue of the Gixxer sorted.
